Let your AI agent work on your drawings
Connect your AI tool to DeepDraw with the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Ask it to add shapes, connect them with arrows, or update notes. Keep your drawing open to see the changes as they happen.
1. Connect your tool
Set up Claude Code
With Claude Code installed, run this command in your terminal to make DeepDraw available across your projects.
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user deepdraw https://deepdraw.app/mcp
Start Claude Code, run /mcp, select deepdraw, and follow the authentication prompt.

2. Sign in to DeepDraw
Your tool opens a browser. Sign in with the DeepDraw account that owns or has access to your drawings, review the connection, and select Allow. Then return to your AI tool. No API key is needed.
Your agent uses your account's drawing permissions. It can edit drawings you can edit and read drawings you can read. You can disconnect it at any time under Connected apps on your profile.
3. Give it a drawing and a task
Open a drawing from My drawings, copy its URL, and paste it into your AI conversation. Try a request like this:
In this DeepDraw drawing: [paste drawing URL], add a sticky note saying “Review this flow” next to the API box and connect the two with an arrow.
Your agent can also find drawings by title, read nested drawings, create a new drawing, and update shapes and their notes.
Agent edits appear live. They are not added to your browser's Undo history.
Need a hand?
- Drawing missing? Check that you signed in with the same account you use for that drawing. Access through a secret sharing link does not carry over to your agent.
- Cannot edit? Your account needs edit access to the drawing. For notes, wait until anyone editing them has finished.
- Connection expired? Use your tool's authentication option to sign in again.
